Eykegai Accepted into Techscaler Catalyst, Advances to Growth Stage

Eykegai has reached a significant milestone in its journey to build impactful and scalable solutions. The company was officially accepted into the Spring ’26 Techscaler Catalyst Programme on 17th February 2026, marking a strong validation of its vision, product direction, and execution capability.
At the centre of this milestone is J-Pool, Eykegai’s smart mobility platform designed for communities. Unlike traditional ride-hailing platforms, J-Pool is built around structured, trusted networks, enabling people within workplaces, campuses, and local communities to share rides efficiently based on repeat, predictable journeys.
The product addresses a critical gap in everyday transport. While existing systems appear functional, they often fail to reflect how people actually move—particularly in less densely populated cities such as Aberdeen, where cost, reliability, and route inefficiencies remain persistent challenges. J-Pool is designed to organise movement within defined communities, transforming informal or fragmented travel patterns into a reliable and scalable system.
The acceptance into Techscaler was driven by the strength of this approach. Early validation highlighted demand for a more coordinated and community-based mobility model—one that prioritises trust, consistency, and cost efficiency over open, anonymous ride-hailing systems.
The opportunity was led by Eykegai’s co-founder, Ugochi Ugbomeh, whose presentation articulated both the problem and the broader vision: building technology that functions as infrastructure, not just a standalone service.
The Techscaler Catalyst Programme is designed to support high-potential startups with the resources, mentorship, and network required to scale effectively. Participation provides access to structured growth frameworks, industry expertise, and a collaborative ecosystem that accelerates innovation.
Building on this momentum, Eykegai has now progressed into the growth stage of the programme. This transition represents a shift from validation to real-world adoption—focusing on refining product-market fit for J-Pool, onboarding early user clusters, and driving consistent usage across targeted communities.
As part of this phase, Eykegai is actively preparing for initial deployment in Aberdeen, with a focus on building trusted user clusters and validating the model within real world environments before expanding into additional regions.
As Eykegai continues its journey within Techscaler, the focus remains clear: to build J-Pool as scalable mobility infrastructure starting in Aberdeen and extending to other communities where existing transport systems do not fully meet the needs of everyday users.
With a validated product direction, a growing operational foundation, and the support of a strong innovation ecosystem, Eykegai is well-positioned for the next phase of growth.
